About the name
Valley Magpie Digital is named after the yellow-billed magpie (Pica Nuttallii), which inhabits the Central Valley of California—the same valley I call home. Like many corvids, the yellow-billed magpie is a smart, gregarious bird. This image is modeled after Ruckus, a rescue bird taken in by Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding, California.
